Fei Tan教授，头颈外科主任医师，博士生导师，英国皇家外科学院终身Fellow。

归国前在临床上，Tan医生持英国行医执照，完成了皇家外科学院全长10年的系统外科培训，获得了英联邦的最高外科认证，现任英国皇家外科学院主任医师。学术上，Tan教授长期从事耳鼻喉头颈外科的临床和基础研究，以及生物材料、生物技术、生物医学工程等交叉学科的研究，并主持了欧盟的国家级课题。归国后，Tan教授主持了多个省部级课题，获得了“上海市海外高层次人才引进计划”长期项目和“浦江人才计划”专项资金等项目的支持，并于国际著名SCI期刊发表十余篇含影响因子10分以上的文章。

Clinically, having been fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) of UK, Dr Tan completed his comprehensive 10-year surgical training entirely in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He is currently a consultant ENT surgeon, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS), which is the top surgical qualification in the commonwealth countries.

Academically, Professor Tan has been heavily involved in the clinical and basic science research in otorhinolaryngology and head & neck surgery. He also devoted himself to conducting interdisciplinary research, such as biomaterial, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering, with copious translational success.

Upon return to Shanghai, Dr Tan is employed as a registered foreign expert. Research-wise, Professor Tan is hosting several research projects, and has published a dozen of papers with high impact factors in prestigious journals. Teaching-wise, Professor Tan is mentoring undergraduates, postgraduates, and qualified doctors of Tongji University. As a result of extraordinary performance, he recently received few talent awards.
